How long have you been a member at St. Catherine of Siena & why you like being a part of the community? 

My family and I have been parishioners of St. Catherine's for a little over 10 years.  It's all about the people!  We love the people of St. Catherine's. The friendly and warm atmosphere drew us in and that's what keeps us here.

What is your goal as a council rep?

As a member of the parish pastoral council I want to work to keep St. Catherine's a vibrant parish.  To me it means strengthening the spiritual and social life of the parish while also maintaining the financial well-being of St. Catherine's.  It's about finding a balance that meets all of St. Catherine's needs.  I look forward to working with other members of the council toward that goal.  

What are other ministries you are a part of?

I am involved with Matthew's Closet, the Meals Ministry, and Voices Raised.  Up until recently, I volunteered at Vacation Bible School for many summers.  I loved working at VBS and I'm pretty sure I had as much fun as the VBS campers!  Outside of the parish I am involved with the PTSA at my daughter's school.
