Our family came to Transfiguration in 1991 searching for a new parish and found so much more….a parish family. A feeling of belonging and most importantly, a family to share our spiritual journey. We have developed many relationships through the years but most importantly have strengthened our relationship with God through the encouragement and love of fellow parishioners and staff.
I answered the call to pastoral ministry through the caring support of my family and attendance at St. Bernard’s which enriched my life beyond measure. That call was affirmed with an invitation to join the staff of Transfiguration in pastoral care in 2005. It has proven to be a wonderful opportunity to serve our parish family sharing moments of joy and struggle and experience Gods’ infinite grace on the journey.
We were drawn to Transfiguration years ago through its gift of hospitality and vibrancy of its beautiful liturgies. These many years later, we continued to be nourished and celebrate in relationship with one another as we all work together in reaching out to each other, sharing our gifts and celebrating around God’s table. Please join us as we experience those words etched above our gathering doors, “Lord, how good it is for us to be here.”
