This is important: to get to know people, listen, expand the circle of ideas. The world is crisscrossed by roads that come closer together and move apart, but the important thing is that they lead towards the Good."
-Pope Francis
The Parish Pastoral Council is a committee of parishioners, who along with Pastoral Staff, meet on a monthly basis to plan, review, discuss and prayerfully discern ideas and issues which affect our Parish. Members of other key committees attend Parish council meetings each month to update the council on their committees' functions.
Three parishioners are chosen each year from a pool of prospective candidates whom are nominated from the parish to serve on the council. Each council member is selected to serve a three year term. The council meets the second Tuesday of each month, from September to June. A chairperson and vice-chairperson are chosen within the group each year.
The Voice of the Parishioner is a feature of each meeting featuring a non-council member from the Parish who is welcomed to the meeting and provides input to the council. A different person from the Parish is asked to be the Voice each month.
