those we love can never be more than a thought away... for as long as there's a memory, they live in our hearts to stay."
A gathering of family and friends after a funeral gives everyone an opportunity to spend time together sharing emories and comfort. Martha's Table Ministry provides a funeral reception for parishioners of St. Catherine of Siena. The ministry is administered by a committee of volunteer members of the parish.
Receptions, or gatherings are held immediately following the funeral mass, memorial service, or cemetery service in either the Community Center or Legacy Hall depending on availibility and size of the gathering.
Families should first speak with Fr. Rob Bourcy about their needs.
Donations are not necessary but are greatfully accepted and enable Martha's Table Ministry to continue to offer funeral receptions.
If you would like to make a donation, you may make a check payable to
St. Catherine of Siena with "Martha's Table" in the memo section.
Martha's Table Ministry provides coffee, tea, punch, baked goods, and fruit platters free of charge to families. Committee members also take care of all set up and clean up responsibilities.
Families wishing to do so may order additional food such as pre-made sandwiches and chips at your own expense. Upon request, our committee can offer menu options as well as vendor suggesstions.
