Lent is a season that highlights our ongoing process to “Become… Forever Changed,” a process that never ends. We are called to place our sinfulness behind us so we can experience God’s mercy in all the avenues of life. The journey of carrying our cross is also coming to understand and embrace God’s unconditional forgiving love. The journey does not last for just six weeks of Lent, it lasts a lifetime. It is a life journey filled with hope that is graced by the Sacraments of our Church and lives in the light of Christ’s Resurrection.
In the light of Christ’s Resurrection, as an Easter people, we need never despair as we continue our common journey. Our journey should be filled with optimism that persuades all to believe, hope and know that no matter how hopeless things may seem, we will rise from the dead and celebrate the newness of life.
Our 2023 schedule is below with the hope that it will help you walk with Jesus through Lent, Holy Week and to the joy of Easter. May our God bring all of us the joy and hope of Easter!
